For the whole of the U.S., about a 6.5% difference between what is consumed and what is generated. How much percentage of the energy in a gallon of gas is used to transport a gallon of gas from the refinery to the consumer’s gas tank?

Except in states/areas without emissions testing.
If only you had been around in 1645 for the spring powered cart disaster.
Wire you acting like this
I’m alternating currently between the two.
Am I the first to say I’m shocked?
Nobody is saying anybody chooses to become an alcoholic. Just that one chooses to drink and drinking has no real benefit to anybody, and there for it’s nonsensical to compare to something somebody has to do for their own health, and which has a side effect of being addicting.
No, drinking always has negative effects on the body. Sure, some studies say that drinking a small amount might have a positive benefit, but that does not mean it is not also having a negative effect concurrently.
Sure drinking is widely acceptable, but it’s also widely accepted that drinking is bad for you. It’s also widely known that you don’t have to be an alcoholic for alcohol to kill you. It is recognized by pretty much anybody who picks up a drink, that drinking is bad for you. Comparing it to a medication which has a…
Well the addiction part is common between them, but there’s a rather obvious difference between becoming dependent on medication, particularly one that has been given to one on the orders of somebody else, and becoming dependent on drink which aside from nobody asking one to get into, has no health benefits for the…
I would bet that it’s because tobacco makes less money/provides fewer jobs. It’s also more publicly visible, people generally don’t drink except in places where drinking usually takes place. Smoking is more visible, and more of a nuisance in public.
You’re going to compare that to drinking? Ok.
My experience with alcoholism in my family leaves me with no sympathy for her. I feel sad for her friends and her child, deeply so. Because I know what it’s like to have to deal with and live with an alcoholic.
It would be hard for this man to attain a higher level of creepiness.
Your post seems full of sour grapes.
No.
No. No. No. I don’t know why people buy into this. It is so much cheaper to cook your own food than it is to buy fast food. You’ll know you’re actually broke when you can’t afford fast food.
I don’t completely agree with her mindset, I do agree it’s gotten pretty fucking weird online as regards what a “normal” or “average” body looks like. And further it’s really fucking strange seeing people who describe themselves as body positive acting like being overweight is totally ok, but being underweight is…
Autonomous subway platforms are the only solution.
Yeah, but a good hooker probably has more money than you.
