I regret being able to provide only one up vote for your mention of The Parallax View.

That was just a stunning hour of television. I can't even be bothered to try and come up with a snarky comment or Simpsons reference. This one episode gave deeper characterization, a richer world, and more compelling plot points than many other shows can provide in YEARS. A+

I hope they don't have Soldier Boy come back at some point (I don't recall them showing him "dead" so much as "beaten senseless") and be this constant thorn in their sides. It was annoying enough when they didn't pick up his gun and just left him laying there, as if the problem was completely solved so why bother

Skip it.

That was easily the best episode of the season, but that says more about the overall quality of the season than this particular episode.

I won't go so far as to say that this was a "good" episode, but it was the best one yet but a significant measure. Conflicts are starting to come into place, motivations are being made (somewhat) clear, etc. I was ready to bail on this show after last week, but I think I'll stick around for the season. Still, all the

Great episode in a so-far great season. I almost choke-laughed myself to death when they dropped "The Villas at Kenny's House", and again when Kim was doing the whisper-talk voiceover in his commercial. Bringing in the season-long narrative arc structure last season was the boost this show needed, and it hasn't been

The last 15-20 minutes were somewhat interesting, but WOW what a slog up until that point. So much 'serious and important stuff going on, you guys' that falls completely flat in the end. Just a mess. And Peggy Bundy's accent is comically bad. I get that Sutter has some juice, but can NOBODY give him advice? I can't

Plenty of valid criticism going around already, but there is NO bigger flaw than having Ruben Blades playing a character named 'Daniel' and not having every other character refer to him as 'Danny Boy' every 3 seconds. Predator 2 was underrated, dammit!

It was Caspere and the Mayor's son doing the filming/blackmail angle. I don't recall seeing the son at the party, but the Russians we last saw him talking to were there, and since he is apparently this big party planner it was probably involved in some other fashion too. But who knows, it could be one of those threads

I look forward to this show every week, which is all I can really ask for in this medium. The first season would fall apart under intense critical analysis too, so it is one of those things you either roll with and enjoy or sit with your arms crossed and complain. I choose the former.

I love how Stallone casually drinks a beer during that scene. Come to think of it , the one thing missing from this recent TD episode was Ray cutting his sons's pizza with scissors.

An uneven end to an uneven season, but it was still a hell of a ride…

As the author said, this is one that just gets better with age. I was underwhelmed when I saw it on video back then, but I like it more and more with each viewing.

I'll back you up on this one. I saw them a little later, no Buckethead, but Bumblefoot instead. Even though he looked like someone from a different band who just sorta snuck onstage and hoped nobody would notice, he could really, really play. Whole band was great and they played for just over 3 hours. I actually like

Oh I know, I pretty much ruled out that thought before finishing it for that reason. That, and even in a show where "nobody is safe!", there are clearly a small handful with plot armor, and Dany is one of them.

Indeed. Hence the "silliness passing quickly".

Yea, I only recognized him last week because I re-watched the series during the Sunday marathons leading up to the new season. I had forgotten his contributions thus far, though, and was struck by how well-reasoned his counsel was way back in Season 2. Not that it helped much, but credit where credit is due.

Great episode this week…brought the laughs more than any other episode I can recall.

"don't raise any eyebrows…"
I see what you did there. Sincerely, Wynn Duffy.
