Those are speed holes. They make Arya go faster.

Yea, that is why I hedged a bit with the 'seemingly'…you always have to assume she is playing an angle whenever she interacts with anyone, especially Jamie. A ruse to lure him closer? Or is she really broken at some level? Not sure they've sold the latter if that is the case but I'm on board with finding out.

I'm very happy that this show is back. I am also somewhat worried about where it is going. The few forced attempts at humor were just way off the mark. And was that just meant to erase the Dorne plot entirely? Because literally the only interesting aspects of Dorne were Alexander Siddig and his badass bodyguard

-The audio design alone during Mike's climax puts this show into the God Tier. The crickets, the jumps between Mike and the cartel, the horn creeping into the mix (and into Mike's awareness). They even got the delay in the gunshot right.

I'm seeing Trower live again for the 4th time this week…fingers crossed for a live rendition!

Trower is always on topic!

Also featured in this episode was an all-too-brief portion of "Whiskey Train" by Procol Harum (from the album 'Home' in 1970), with the all-time master of tone Robin Trower on guitar.

I was speaking to the original score (specifically the pulsing number during the raid), not the licensed music. Because it is always terrible, as noted.

It would have been really cool if at the beginning when Rick was in the RV and told Carol "We're gonna to have to fight" she just slowly and unblinkingly tied on a headband Rambo style. But looking at the cookies was neat too. And the Saviors decorate their walls with photos of people with bashed-in heads. Interesting

Ah, gotcha. I approve of this venture!

Um, what?

To keep it fresh, they will have him find a broken iPad and have Facetime chats with Carl's eye instead. "You don't say much, eye of Korl."

-So Glenn gives a nice speech and reminds us of fallen characters…but what about T-Dog, Glenn? WHAT ABOUT T-DOG???

Very nice conclusion to a wonderfully adapted series. As others noted, I was kind of hoping for more of a 'shit meets fan' approach on Eros as in the books, but I suppose the budget wouldn't allow it and it still hit the necessary story beats. Avasarala's early presence was certainly a slow burn all season, but she

Best one I could find in one search:

Absolutely correct. 'Dopesmoker' is the original version. 'Jerusalem' was the re-mixed and edited version, but was released first.

He was not…a worthwhile addition though!

Well, he knew who Holden was, and since we didn't see his POV at all until he actually engaged the attackers it is possible he saw him taking cover and went after the other guys (probably helped that the crew was wearing matching uniforms, too).

Yep. Given how closely they are following the book (even with the additions from later books), I can't see any way they are going to wrap up the first book in two more episodes without some major restructuring. I DO recommend the books very highly, but if you don't want to be spoiled on the next season of the show I'd

Great episode, and one I was really looking forward to as a book reader. I love it when a book scene is translated to the screen in exactly the same fashion as in my mind's eye, and the hotel sequence was one such occurrence (well, other then Kenzo). Kind of freaky when it happens. The last thing to do this was the
