Wow, that actually sounds utterly ideal, and trust me to half-miss the reference to it above (caught mention of The Dowd, but not the television aspect). I’m going to have a very productive sofa-sitting weekend, it sounds like. Thank you very much—hopefully I’ll join you soon in singing its praises.

Following this on Twitter as it happened and The triumvirate of Dave Meltzer, Jim Cornette and Chris Cruise absolutely wrecked Coachman, especially when he tried to say his eighteen years in the business meant more than Meltzer’s/Cornette’s/Cruise’s near four decades EACH covering and working in the business

It’s always good to be reminded that we’re lucky to be able to see Williams play, even if you’re not a big tennis fan.

The headline said “crush”. I disagree. Kerber played very well and so did Serena. One break per set isn’t being crushed, and Kerber was even competitive in those games.

As a Celtics fan, Jimmy Butler was the only name being floated around that i would like them to make a run at, and it sounds like Chicago was going swing for the fences. Danny Ainge was just on the radio, and spoke about this- there weren’t realistic chances to move down, and they had a player they liked much more

Leicester’s title this year. Just the prolonged high performance. Even as a Chelsea fan, you had to start rooting for Ranieri’s boys towards the end.

Haters gonna say it’s fake.

USMNT has been abiding by that policy for about 20 years now.

If I can get one person to admit that Jackie Bradley Jr. is fun and cool, it will be good Kinja

I heartily endorse this. Also, Bill Simmons isn’t that bad.

Is this a trap?

The meme has everything. Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Kermit the Frog, an amazing kicker and an old racist with a bloody ankle

Counterpoint in Schilling’s own language.

Yeah, he also likes to yell at the crowd for not getting into it enough. That gets old quickly.

Every complaint about Radiohead being abstract and listener-unfriendly is snuffed out the second you watch them live in concert

They are completely overachieving, but not in a fluke way but more of a “Brad Stevens gets the most from his roster” way. It’s still an especially flawed roster, especially in the frontcourt (a lot of undersized 4s and 5s that free up the boards as you alluded too) but they’re in a prime position to reload the gaps
