Like the dark ending of this episode nothing good is going to come of the Vault story. The Doctor has already broken his promise (not to leave the Vault) and his trying to be cute about it.

This episode would have been an very ironic Woman Seeking Man or Daughter Seeking Father. A missed opportunity in my opinion, and a little confusing since the show is usually on the ball. I loved the superpower joke.
Sometimes this show really stirs up emotion with me. The finale scene with Josh walking Mike down the aisle was one of those moments.
