Based on his overall behavior, there’s a roughly 100% chance this jerk operates under the attitude of “we just went out and I paid for drinks, so you owe me tonight”*. So when she refused, he kept pushing for an explanation to try to wear her down.

Seriously, and done after he wrestled an apology out of the LW.
Wow, that guy certainly thinks of himself. Thanks for taking time to respond to the LW writer Patrick..
Just reading this now. Bummed as I liked the show but I do think some of the episodes were struggling to find a beat with a new lead in the last season. It was nice seeing the show develop and mature, too bad it was canceled by FXX. Their lineup is not that deep.
And Illana knows her herpes sex ed! I was shocked she did not say something to Ms. RuPaul.
This episode was near classic Broad City for me. I thought this was a much better episode than the season opener which relied only on Abbi and Illana. I would have rated this episode higher and the season opener lower.
Interesting Good/Bad Day analogy. I thought the good times were a fantasy of sorts. The call backs were nice and Abbi and Illana getting hit by a bus with a picture of would be President was a somewhat interesting twist.
I thought the series would move to another town or city for a moment as the different groups drove away.
I was really disappointed that a regular train was the physical monstrosity. I was hoping it would a homage to the end of the movie. I was disappointed that there were still rail tracks around and that they were not destroyed by a Mist monstrosity.
I was amazed that no one ran over to help after he had helped. I was also amazed at how long the Mist spent on Alex and how quickly it takes most other people.
I actually felt sorry for Alex and did not want him to die. But if there is a second season I have a feeling he might turn up. Rather I hope he does.
A looney tunes funny ending to the scene, I'd tolerate.
My reaction to this episode was "And…"
Ha!
Commenters queued me into Adrian early but I hoped for another assailant.
I'm not one for drama but I've completely turned against the mother as her worst characteristics play out with no remorse or hesitation.
I thought it very cliche. Yes, the priest might have the 4 Horsemen on their minds as a fear. Certainly some thought went into it but I found the idea uninspiring.
I can be slow on the uptake. But I never thought the mental patient was a doctor. I always thought the person was a patient. I guess they were trying to be too clever for their own good as they did not reinforce the first visual impression with a second supporting sensory mention of sorts from what I remember.
Amazing how The Mist respects doors (and the gaps around them)…
No guilt watching it.
