You don’t get arrested for just resisting arrest, dumbass. One must first be arrested for an offense and then you get slapped with an extra charge for not cooperating, in this case it was for resisting the actual arrest.

If the only charge is resisting arrest, prosecutors should throw that shit out. It’s obviously bullshit.

But when the arrest was for a non-existent crime? How does that even work?

Notice how she wasn’t actually charged with any underlying offense. Doubling up on resisting charges is a bs way of forcing a plea. And as the Postal Worker case showed, cops are often more than happy to just chant stop resisting as they arrest you no matter what you do.
