No, because it was part of the field itself, not a subset of four games just to become part of the larger entity.

Then the NCAA shouldn't refer to conference tournament championships as "automatic bids." The chance to have to play in to the field of 64 isn't a tournament berth, it's a wild card game.

You're not getting the "best possible basketball tournament" with the play-in games in the first place. When the field expanded, it gave the NCAA an excuse to extend their airplay, with the chance to cash in just a bit more.

The one big problem I have with the tournament, and more specifically the play-in games, is that they still punish the teams that win their conference tournaments by making them play their way into the actual field.

I've spent 3/4s of my life being a Duke fan. Now, I have to watch my alma mater in a goddamn play-in game just to get the chance to make them be the first 1 seed to lose to a 16.

Jesus, Tim. Do they put ranch on Milk and Honey Original Cafe Mix?

+1 for the comment

The best part of the whole Kenny Stills deal today, is that the linebacker they acquired, Dannell Ellerbe, was going to be cut by the Dolphins. They apparently "lost the paperwork" and then went ahead with the deal.

Whatever we can do to help return the favor.

The most fun part of the Europa League is watching Tottenham implode in other countries.

What if he was white?

This answer is the best answer.

If Jon Gruden asked you to throw a Y-Banana Spider Lock, would you or would you not know how far it is you can punt a football?

My entire freshman year of college was a blur because my dealer lived the floor above me and would always give me discounts/overweights on half-tracks. Those would normally get me through the next day, or so, and he was always available.

True, but here's my random, "there's no way this could possibly happen" conspiracy theory: this is a ploy between UFC and the WWE to cross-promote. At Mania, Lesnar loses because of a distraction from CM Punk who challenges him to his debut match in UFC. Loser has to retire from every brand of wrestling/fighting.

He should be front and center. He's honestly the only reason why I even spend 10 minutes a week reading up on what happens every week.

I think this may have been a pseudo-pipe bomb from Heyman. He's great at working the mic, may be the best ever, but there seemed to be an air of legitimacy to this.

Why is that a cop out? Throwing out his age, he's arguably the top keeper in the world.
