Actually the edit is rather good. This is how it should have been.

"people who go out of their way to be offended"
It appears the dudebros have turned up.
Wait, do you think there are women out there that support the big pillars of misogyny/patriarchy?
"Hi, you're a woman, you like one of this list of things! I'm a male, I like this list of things. But be careful all that we are must be in these lists"
Oh, one of those "it's not actually this it's the total opposite" despite it causing such a fuss that Microsoft themselves are changing it. It's big, it's bad, and you can't see it.
Do you live in a pretend world where some women don't contribute to the patriarchy?
Jezebel arrives the same time as "1950's marketing guy" usually. Perhaps the problem should be stemmed?
I'd say it completely goes against their advertising strategy of "appeal to everyone". But they also had crass gender stereotypes in another advert of theirs recently. They're getting quite poor.
*says I'm the oldest thing in my house* *"what about your parents"*
Same. Rocko and South Park had a huge influence on my career.
Horrible. This really doesn't have much place in 2013.
Horrible isn't it.
A lot of people don't like it. Are you a fedora certified dudebro or something like that? that's the vibe I'm getting.
That's a shame but it looks like it's working a LOT of people are cancelling orders because of this, my wife wanted an Xbox 1 but missed out on the day 1 preorders, but cancelled hers after this farce. I wouldn't want my money supporting such a clown campaign either.
We know! They're getting a lot of flack over it.
That's a very strange thing to say to someone with all current gen consoles, all next gen consoles (apart from xbox 1) who does most their gaming on PC and 3DS.
I don't know how much you know, but large companies have internal and external marketing. Sony's bad adverts were from those external companies. It only takes an internal junior marketer to say yes to them.
But once you steal a car, run a red light, kill someone (be they good or bad) you're then a criminal. Continue doing it and you're a serial criminal.
The problem is people use it as justification that it's okay to actually behave like that. It could have been done so much better.
