I've only worked in "crunch" time on a few projects in my life and I didn't like it. I've imposed it on myself to stretch my own creative goals but never on someone elses command and ALWAYS with overtime paid. It's the same in any other job and I pay all my employees overtime if they decide to crunch.

Most developers won't see a bonus. They're reserved for top brass. A fool would think "we successfully shipped a game, there's no way we'll get fired as the company downsizes after a big release".

It does happen but I've always made sure to put in my contracts that I will not be forced to work beyond the weekly hours, and that all overtime will be paid.

I was just wondering why someone is misogynistic in 2013.

Eh, those were my first Pokemon games too and I'm in my early 30's.

Eh, explaining why I dislike something is a bad thing now?

Group: that ice Pokemon and the selection the user (as I don't know if the poster is male or female) has.

It really does. It's annoying as fuck that Nintendo has the worst software implementation (limited downloads, no auto patching) and the best hardware support (cheap plentiful SD cards, no account tied to SD).

Just tried to watch that. Saw the first one. It's that very weird modern humor isn't it, the one that just features strangely autistic-spectrum characters doing weird things. I was expecting her to have a lesbian lover to fit in with the whole "gotta be modern" attitude.

Yup, that is unusually steep. Something is wrong there. 600k for 36 minutes is outrageous.

"Him" is an individual term.

50.5% of the time. Which is why we employ the gender neutral term "human". For your sexist/misogynist text to be true the breed would have to be 100% one gender or another, which this Pokemon isn't.

Doesn't matter. Talking about a group it automatically becomes genderless. This applies to any organism or even fictional living entity that employs genders.

*zooom*

Yup, so they're not a "he". Just like humans aren't "he".

Nintendo 2SS?

"him"

They'd be right if they're looking at it from an artistic POV. A lot of the games I made years ago are still adored today but I think they're trash.

And it makes me sad.

Now there is a direct competitive multiplayer, you're damn straight it's going to be "pay2win".
