Agreed. For some reason, that scene in S2 made me so deeply angry. I didn't even realize how much I cared about Amy until that asshole.

This show has such a wonderful pace. It never feels like lethargic wheel-spinning because the writing is so excellent and the aesthetics create a distinct mood that makes any traditionally boring scene so transfixing.

I don't have a problem with this. I also would theoretically like this show if it took the self-aware tone of the movie, but I'm doubtful of that happening.

Yeah, I agree. I think that people are concerned about the opposite, actually - that it's offensive to actually use it to move forward the plot. Again, like I said, I haven't watched it, so I have no idea. I'm just echoing what other sites have criticized.

People like me? I just said I haven't watched it so I have no idea. I'm just saying that's what MOST people who've been commenting on it are criticizing.

I'm not caught up so I can't really comment on whether or not what GOT is doing is 'okay,' but I think the creators/Martin are missing the point when they defend including rape. The problem, based on what I've read from other reviews and sites, isn't the mere inclusion of rape; it's the way it's presented and used as

When this episode started, I groaned a little, dreading a gimmicky meta episode instead of one true to the characters and emotions. Around halfway through, I realized what I was watching. This was one of the best episodes ever, and worked perfectly as a series finale. I'm down for a movie, but I hope there isn't a

Hey it's that guy from Short Term 12

Probably the most fun episode since sometime in the second season. I enjoyed taking a timeout from the main plot, and this show is always most fun when random storylines are intersecting.

I groaned when I saw Chris Diamantopoulos appear on my screen at the start of this season (maybe just because of his terrible characters on The Office and Community), but I've laughed out loud at basically everything he said this season. Great episode.

I really hope this is good. I'd enjoy seeing the Eisenberg-Stewart reunion.

"What else can fit the giant period-television void left by Mad Men?"

I liked your point about watching the supporting players and imagining their thoughts. F reviews could use more existential angst like this.

I've liked her ever since A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, so good for her!

Game of Thrones, Lord of the Flies, and some 60's Marvel comics.

One of my favorites of the season so far. For some reason I lost it at how many times Gavin punched/kicked the screen.

I've always supported the idea of an Abed-Annie relationship, especially when they made out in the S2 paintball episode.

That's what I've heard. Once I'm at season 3, at least I'll have The Flash to make up for it!

I just finished Arrow season 1, so I have a bit before I'm at the point where The Flash starts, but I'm looking forward to it!

(Coming to this super late in prep for the next season.) All of your criticisms have been super valid, and I agree with pretty much everything, but I enjoyed this season a lot more than you have. Even if it's an illusion of substance, it's been an illusion that's worked pretty well; the show has been consistently fun,
