Because people have decided that Diana can do no wrong, so she must be justified in physically assaulting other people. She occasionally talked about a social issue, when she wasn’t jet-setting around the world, spending millions in public funds doing nearly nothing. Is it better than the actual nothing done by the

Soooo, Heath Mello wasn’t good enough, but Jean MF’in Stothert, a hardcore Trumper Republican, is better?!? Mmmmm, okay. Mello revised his position to pro-choice and had the endorsement of Planned Parenthood of Nebraska. Mello was the better candidate by miles, and only self-destructive nincompoops think otherwise.

She is a basic white girl with immense wealth and power. Like others in her position, the life model is to consume/appropriate whatever, whenever, however you want. Then, when it isn’t exciting or new anymore, toss it away and move on to the next thing. FWIW, I think right-wing re-conversion and a spot on Fox News

Only if Miley has been out of the last five news cycles. Then, absolutely yes. /S

Just hasn’t found the right dick yet, dontcha know? <- /s and gross rewording of her super offensive take 🤢🤮

A desperate thirstiness that outweighs her talent by fivefold? ⚖️

This is the correct answer.  The movies on the airlines aren't even that good, unless you like The Fast and Furious 27 or the latest Will Smith debacle.  I always load my tablet with twice as much content as I could possibly watch during the flight.

But this is another part of being wealthy - knowing the secrets, and the back doors, and the “no line” options for everything. Only the poors play by the rules. The truly wealthy want and have arranged short cut, easy button, buy-it-now, competition-free options for everything in their entire life. They don’t atually

Nice dream, but I'm guessing that she tops out at Meghan McCain.  Aka: 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

I don’t know if her support would sway enough people for him to win, but I do think it will be a number significantly more than zero. People here really like her, and think she works hard for the city. I think it could convince some of our neighbors to go back to Bernie. (He won MI in the 2016 primary, so there are

Speaking from Rashida’s district- she has a lot of credibility with Detroiters after working as an organizer for decades. Older PoC are not Bernie’s strong suit in general. If Rashida and AOC endorse him, I could see it swaying some of the older voters in Detroit towards Bernie, away from Biden. Just my 2¢....

Gotcha. I support full-on, Sanders style democratic socialism over Warren’s lite version, so the Jacobin may be more on my wavelength than most people.

Just an honest question: What is wrong with the Jacobin? I noticed that a few people mentioned not liking it in the Splinter RIP threads. I read it casually, along with the Guardian, NPR, Jez and formerly Splinter/Gawker. I don’t even know if commenting is a feature on that site.

FWIW, as a long-time married, coming to big decisions through discussions with your partner and empathy for their position is a really good model for future big decisions. Many of my longest married friends are also in the “we came to this decision together during a series of conversations” camp, as opposed to the "we

As we all must...

A similar, but thankfully less prolific killer was just captured in Detroit. He targeted women who had very little power - older black women engaged in subsistence sex work. He killed at least four women before being caught, and it was seen as a “quick” resolution compared to many of these cases that stay open and

Mmmmhmmmm. I also have worked for two top tier public universities. And for the record, whatever nonsense the administration got up to there pales in comparison to the hijinks at the Ivies from friend’s stories. Any non-faculty staff members were treated horribly. The uni tried to outsource everything to private

In short, nope. The schools mentioned in this article have endowments so astronomically large that they could run, tuition-free, in perpetuity. They could already be offering all of the scholarships to all of the worthy poor kids. So why aren’t they? Because they are part of the preservation of the ruling elite.

Additional consideration: The prestige ranking of hugh schools and the “honors” or IB designations at private and faux-public (you have to own a $2 million home to send your kid there) high schools allow students at very wealthy schools to inflate their GPAs up to an extra point as well. This means that students can

And they hired Sean MFing Spicer to *teach* after he tanked at the White House Press Secretary job. 🤢🤮
