In Detroit, the March is only a small part of a day of education and activism meet-ups. Basically, it is a giant re-energizing and strategizing day for the fight that lies ahead in the next two years and beyond. I’m excited about it.

This. Use book boxes people. The movers stack them up on a dolly, and 30 min. later you have all of your books in your house.  Easy peasy.

We’ve moved thousands of volumes seven times in nine years. Is it ideal? Probably not, but my books makee smile every night when I come home, and that is what counts. Also, I use at least 1/3 of the collection for my job, so there's that.

I’m exhausted, getting sick, and just made peace with the fact that a grant app that is due tonight isn’t going to be finished in time....so a real doozy of a day all around. On the upside, I read this, and it is the greatest thing I have read all year.
