It bears noting that the largest terrorist attack on Canadian soil was the Montreal Massacre, which was aimed at women studying science, and feminism in general. It keeps getting glossed over that misogyny is a cornerstone of many of these hateful ideologies; it’s intersectional.

Couldn’t agree more. Generally I find libertarianism to be a euphemistic but ultimately meaningless label of convenience for “selfish assholes” who espouse any ideology from religious extremism to corporate fascism, as it suites them.

I agree with you about those spineless republicans, and that’s who I’m talking about working to unseat in 2018, although that goes double for democrats who afford nominees and this administration generally more cooperation than was afforded to Obama. I don’t think it’s worth trying, because it takes so much longer than making a new burner. My best advice is checking comment histories before responding to someone grey, though it’s not a perfect solution.
