Also, determining who was her biological parents according to birth certificates makes no logical sense; if the American woman was mistaken in identifying her, both parents would have authentic birth certificates, just for two different girls.

Why on earth would the judge refuse to grant the request for DNA testing? It could have saved heartbreak and trauma all around.
