Wasn't Greg Capullo trying to copy MacFarlane's style for that book, though? I thought they were trying to make it look the same, so maybe nobody would notice that the creator had left the book just after helping found the whole "creator owned" Image. I know, I get going on rants about this sort of thing.

Cy-Gor. It

Aaaaaaaaaaand depression.

Oh man, that takes me back. Very early Spawn. Was it... Cybergore? I remember they said that early cybernetics were too painful for the human nervous system, so this giant gorilla was in constant unbearable pain. They took it in a horror direction, which was cool, but I remember it not going anywhere and just fizzling

So, the Sims, basically.

Spoiler!

Nobody, as far as I know. You said nothing that creates discussion is useless, so I gave you an example of someone who specifically creates useless discussion. Trolls.

It looks like Virgin and SpaceX are going in two different directions, which is cool. SpaceX is providing transportation for astronauts and technicians, while Virgin is aiming specifically for tourism. Hence, SpaceX is taking the most direct route, while Virgin is developing a method for the purpose of the most scenic

Or live out your entire life alone in your mother's basement, because something scary might happen if you venture out into the world! Real shame.

Trolling creates discussion, yet is useless.

I also loved the one season it had. My girlfriend had never heard of it, so I went on a torrent tracker (The Pirate Bay, specifically) and sure enough, there are plenty of people sharing the entire series in one big, beautiful download.

And you prove my point by admitting he has mental issues. I'm glad we could agree on some level, at least.

For nearly all of medical history, we could only study the brain after death, when there was no activity to detect. Now, we're finally able to scan brain activity, but soon, through the Brain Mapping Project,

People love things for mental reasons. They hate things for mental reasons. All human behavior comes from the brain.

Sanity is not subjective. There are many, many diagnoses for all the different ways in which the brain can go wrong, and the effects of that change are constantly being studied in countless people all

God caught him?! Oh man, that must have been an awesome thing to witness! Where are THOSE photographs?!

You think this is sane behavior?

I love the whole "Thing" setting, with a little Resident Evil mixed in maybe, but that last, awful line about "Playing God" always makes me cringe. It's the worst anti-scientific position that people have been dealing with for hundreds of years, like we should leave things the way they are, no matter how bad or easily

Technology naturally breaks down social barriers. That's the whole process through which we finally got past monarchies. As technology progresses, it becomes more and more easily accessible to more and more people. Eventually, through far-reaching and versatile technologies like this, there won't be any more "elite."

My favorite part is that the Y chromosome apparently has bad hygiene and doesn't clean itself up. SHOCKING. Just wrap it with duct tape. That'll hold it together.

That's a shame. This would be the perfect method to monitor drug addicts instead of sending them to prison. If convicted, the get a monitoring device, then just send them home. It's actually less intrusive than prison, or observed urine tests.

I love that the famous line you quoted was improvised. Roy Scheider just made it up on the spot, and it was fantastic.

"Theory" doesn't mean it's just an idea someone came up with. Even a hypothesis needs a little proof, but a theory requires an enormous amount of proof, while the other options have exactly zero proof. A very old book claimed it with no evidence, and no other supporting documents. All of the proof is on one side.
