The Expose thing didn't work for me. I hit the spacebar and it just opens that window.

If I had a machine like that I would probably just waste resources and play Doom. Or Minesweeper.

Now playing

These are my two favorite Pixar mashups. One more in reply.

@LastRushup: Gotta love a good creepypasta.

Reminds me of this old copypasta:

Kinda sad that a "fraction of the price" is still a thousand dollars.

Music Games don't need a story as far as I'm concerned. Just fun songs that I want to play.

Maybe that's why my battery seems especially bad when I leave it unplugged over night. I always wondered why it was draining so much power (sometimes up to 50%) it was just sitting there.

I actually think that's really cool. I have almost like the opposite of claustrophobia and I really like small enclosed spaces.

@Cinnamoncanuck: My boss was born ON Christmas. But he's Indian and doesn't celebrate, so he says it sucks because everyone else is always busy and he gets stuck not doing anything.

@Ukelelele: Yeah, that's super tacky. If I invite people out for a birthday dinner, I'm the one picking up the check (unless they steadfastly oppose such at the end of the meal, in which case alright).

I love the Remote app. Sometimes I use it to play little pranks on people in the Apple Store by suddenly playing music as they walk by. Fun stuff.

@jms: I don't know how it works on the Android side of thing, but I can tell you what happens when I jailbreak my iPhone. Everything still works as it should, the only thing you can't do is update the firmware through official channels. And as far as bricking goes, I know the iPhone Dev Team as worked to make it

@Ben R: Well yes, if you're using a real standard. But all of my devices pre-Apple always used funky little proprietary connections, so the de facto 30-pin "standard" was a nice change.

As a fairly early adopter, I was glad to see the iPod become so ubiquitous because no matter where I went there was a good chance I could charge it.

I remember an iPhone version of this concept last year. [gizmodo.com]

I did this when I was staying in Toronto for a few months. I didn't want to accidentally connect to the Rogers network and be hit with unexpected charges but I still wanted to be able to listen to music and play games, so I left my iPhone on airplane mode the whole time. The battery would last for days.

What kind of prison is that? Something tells me it's not exactly "maximum security." Especially that last picture. I got a chuckle out of that.

@mugzy81: Contacts didn't used to be a separate app on the iPhone (it was on the iPod Touch). But people complained so eventually Apple relented and gave it to them.
