So this is just a recap of a single SNL sketch?

Pretty excited for the “Evil Week” take on this subject.

It’s probably because PS2 was a much hotter seller than Xbox and Gamecube. Smackdown games sold much better than Raw on Xbox and DoR on GameCube, so they went with that one.

lol, you total idiot. I like Shiv plenty. I think she’s a great character. I just don’t think she is a beacon of virtue.

Yes, watching people bend over backwards to yas kween Shiv is really bizarre. She’s savvy, obviously, but she’s a huge piece of shit like the rest of them. I think this will become even more apparent next week when she’s given the choice between saving Tom or being the new CEO.

lol. It’s fine to give $0, but children living with their parents isn’t a privilege, you dope.

lol

This is the kind of comedy we need on SNL. Classic.

Simmer down bub

It’s because film criticism is so pathetically bad now. Every superhero movie is roughly 43 hours long and the bulk of them get nearly universal praise from critics despite the fact that the paper-thin stories don’t require anywhere near three hours to tell. Everybody thinks they’re an auteur now. Even films that are a

lol

Yeah, I mean, I don’t exactly care about ‘selling out’ or know what that means. But Janet explicitly left the band because of the new direction. She said as much. Before she left the band, I heard one or two of the new singles and thought, “this isn’t very good.” It may be because I’m a straight guy (???) who suddenly

I’m a big St. Vincent fan, though her last album is the weakest since Marry Me. I know we have to discuss things in terms of identity because this is the internet in 2019, but the fact that this new album is such a departure that a longtime member of the band quit due to the new direction should maybe clue you in that

I think there may be more straight white men on the planet than there are Janet Weisses. Not sure.

Yeah, another straight white male who didn’t like the new direction is Janet Weiss. Must not have been masculine enough for her.

I don’t particularly care about this and I think it’s silly to retroactively cancel her for the sketch, but the suggestion that in 2007 she had no idea this might be a bad idea is very funny to me. Pretty sure the conversation about blackface happened a few decades before that, but now we’re in a time where all

I don’t doubt for a second you all scream in public.

I’m totally fine with punching Nazis but the thing where an AVClub commenter pretends this is something they would ever actually do is very funny to me.

He just said he doesn’t like it. If some random dork on the internet is going to put his opinion on Watchmen out there I’m not sure why the creator shouldn’t.

this is hilarious
