A House of Leaves simulator does seem like a good time.

Your first mistake was posting on that subreddit. Lurking is absolutely fine and can be fun sometimes, but the mods often ban people for agreeing with them, because they simply don’t bother reading/interpreting everything people wrote.
There’s an entire “movement” of Retro FPS games that has been burgeoning lately. Dusk, by the same guy who created this game, is one of the greatest shooters ever made.
Postal 4 gave us Civvie11's glorious Pro Postal 4 series. That alone makes its existence worth it.
One particular flash point for some players’ frustrations with the direction of the game’s expansions was a recently announced 30th Anniversary Edition boxed set. It reprinted rare cards from the earliest days of Magic, allowing players a shot at acquiring them for $1,000 per set of four booster packs. It was an…
Frankly, the Oscars are already a bore that serves as a marketing tool for (mostly) bad movies. The Game Awards are essentially the same thing for another industry, so it makes sense that it would be a bore, too.
Of all the things that’d make it less boring, though, the fashion sense of the attendees is the last thing…
This was a feature, not a bug.
That’s great, and I agree. I see way too many people who genuinely believe those who choose Marc Meer are doing it “wrong”, though, and it always makes me roll my eyes.
Shepard dies at the beginning of ME2 and is revived shortly after, but I can’t help but feel that reviving him AGAIN would be too much. Mass Effect was never a spectacularly-written series, sure enough, but it has always been somewhat better than cape shit.
Shepard’s gender is chosen by the player and most people went with the male option, so these headcanon arguments are just silly. Also, Marc Meer did a good job.
The NBA is a north american sports league where foreigners are an exception; the title of Grandmaster is open to any chess player, regardless of nationality, and is FAR more diverse. Also, the title of Grandmaster is held for life. Not sure the two are in any way comparable.
It’s a bit. That personality’s a significant part of his schtick.
All of this over piracy - or, more specifically, “selling cheat and modification devices for Nintendo hardware”, as the article put it. And even the judge went on to describe his crimes as “terrible”.
You know, I was about to chalk this up to us having different tastes (or, maybe, you just not being all that familiar with story-driven games), but did you seriously just come at me with this?
“I’m a a veteran gamer since 1996 who played every story focused masterpiece game. so your opinion is really nothing cause you…
I’d argue Luke’s pieces tend to attract this sort of crowd. He’s always been Kotaku’s anti-piracy “crusader”, so his moralistic tone probably encourages those who agree with him to speak out.
Dream Daddy was so distant from anything I’d consider remotely interesting that I was about ready to write this one off, but I’ll be damned: that trailer is quite compelling. I’ll be keeping my expectations in check, but I’m rooting for this one.
This is only tangential to your comment, but I think it’s hilarious how the commentariat’s stance on piracy fluctuates wildly between articles. In some of them, you will see people rightfully defending it as an important tool in the hands of the consumer. If it is a Luke Plunkett article, however, suddenly the place…
If you truly believe what you’re saying about “Life is Strange”, I can only say our standards differ substantially.
Just ignore AAA games. Most of them are a fetid pit where creativity goes to die, so it’s not like you’ll be missing much.
That image of a girl with petty insults written all over her face is absolutely embarrassing. And... is that a sticker with “Fat Bitch” written on it? Seriously?
