It is even more ironic because Laserface used to go by another name, but he deleted that account when someone else went through his internet history.

Our social indexes are actually getting better, with the main exception being that a portion of the population has lapsed back into poverty, when they had moved up into the lower middle-class during Lula’s government. The current youth, however, is probably the most highly-educated in history, so the full picture has…
We did have it much better before. Not too long ago, in fact. The last time we had such a horrible human being as a president was centuries ago, and guess what? He was also a military man.
Word of mouth around here is that one of his sons is a videogame fan. Since said son is also the one who runs his twitter account (or, at the very least, uses it often), this might have been the result of something he suggested directly.
Frankly, it is sad to see a game like Skullgirls undergo something like this. These future updates are probably just inertial (Annie, for instance, has been a known factor for years); we can probably bury our hopes that anything truly new AND interesting will surface, especially since it seems there will be no…
This whole thing is completely stupid. If only one has to lose, I hope it is Apple, but the ideal situation would be everybody involved jumping into a metaphorical ditch.
This is Laserface; a troll, to be concise. Do not waste your breath.
Also, he always dismisses replies that disagree with him, which makes engaging with him even less of a fruitful endeavor. He dismissed your previous comment and then accused you of something (and, by reading the comment he linked, it is clear he is…
No, I just don’t care what a stranger (or anyone else, for that matter) thinks of the cultural works I enjoy. I will stop following someone’s work if I feel like it, for whatever reason; Ahad’s behaviour does not offend me in any way in this scenario, at least so far, so I won’t deprive myself of enjoying his work…
The one accusation we have is nothing scandalous, to tell you the truth. At worst, he is insufferable at work; at best, he is just really passionate when it comes to his vision. I will decide for myself which artists are worthy of being followed, and nothing I’ve seen so far makes me want to stop enjoying Ahad’s work.
Hm, so he’s no longer affiliated with Lab Zero? I don’t need to pay attention to this story anymore, then.
This whole situation is a mess. Personally, I am only keeping an eye on it to see what will become of Alex Ahad. His art was what got me interested in the studio’s oeuvre in the first place (even though I think Indivisible didn’t use his talents fully).
“General people who have played it”.
I mean, yeah, their input being simply ignored (which is quite different from it being taken into account, but not actually acted on) because they are women would be a a problem, but we do not have that kind of information. The crux of the issue, here, is the report’s equating of “sexualized characters” with a toxic…
You are intentionally or unintentionally attempting to divert from the real argument.
I am going to need a source on “the large opinion of it from people etc etc etc”. Sounds pretty much like something you pulled out of your ass, to be frank. Especially when most of Bloodline’s fanbase is comprised of hardcore CRPG lovers, not people who are fans of the tabletop game.
In other words, this is not Battletoads.
The first Bloodlines is “okay”?
The point you are trying to make skirts a completely different line of thought. You are trying to imply sexualization is an element that might indicate unfavorable views on women; I am saying there is absolutelyno relation, in and of itself.
Sexual misconduct is widespread in this industry, and I think it is dangerous to attempt to paint “sexualization of characters”, with no nuance, as something that might be indicative of toxicity. It is tremendously unfair and veers dangerously close to puritanism. And that’s without even taking into account that many …
I completely disagree that sexualized designs are necessarily an indication of how a developer values women. Enjoying creating - and consuming - art that is sexually stimulating in no way indicates how one views the subject of their sexual attraction. It just means they enjoy titillation - that’s all.
