Yeah, it is what I do. If I have no choice but to stomach DRM, I will buy the game and then download a pirate copy, which I will stash on an external hard drive.

Frankly, this is the main reason I view piracy as an important tool for the consumer to have. When it comes to PC gaming, I normally try to only buy games that are absolutely DRM-free; if I have no such option, I have no qualms whatsoever about torrenting a title that I purchased so I can have a backup copy readily…
