This is essentially just for show. The same thing happened with AM2R: not only is it still widely available, but fans have even patched and improved on the base game.

In that case we can just resort to piracy, I suppose.

I do, too. Hockey player’s outfits are also incredibly silly, which makes watching them fight much funnier than it has any right to be.

What they did was hardly a bold move - in fact, it is a very old trick. It is not new even in the context of video games.

It did affect mine. The first Last of Us was a competent game with a story that managed to be charming despite all of its clichés - and the ending was surprisingly well handled.

Those things look tremendously uncomfortable.

I am fine with that. Not a single good Fallout has ever come from Bethesda, and the only good game in the franchise after they purchased it was developed by Obsidian.

Their best game, to this day, is Morrowind. As far as I am concerned, it was the last good game they made. It had pretty good writing, too.

Then I can speak more freely. Given what we have, no, these are not just “on paper plot points”, but the very core of the story, especially when you take into account all the cutscenes available.

When it comes to ND, the plot, while simple, is an integral part of the package. The gameplay alone would never be enough to make me sit through one of their games - not since the first Uncharted, at least.

Have you seen the spoilers? Do you know what I am talking about?

Word of warning: as someone who also thought this was just idiots complaining about progressiveness, if those leaks are real, the game’s plot is just awful.

If those leaks are real, - and I hope they aren’t - I am definitely sitting this one out.

Brian’s answer is a thing of pure beauty. I mean it. There are almost no arcades in my country anymore (and the ones that do exist are enormous - the good, old neighborhood arcades are long extinct), but I absolutely love the atmosphere japanese arcades have. Whenever I go to Japan, my hotel of choice is Gracery

Are you ok?

Heretic.

I was going to say something akin to “the internet was a mistake”.

The censored porn in question has Japanese women. I would guess it is pretty much that.

I mean, I get your point, but an island where is everything is controlled by a single corporation that supplies all the jobs is essentially the description of real-world communism (not its theoretical version, which is pretty much utopian).

I still wonder why Jezebel has chosen to keep absolutely mum about the whole leaked audio affair. I’ve seen some speculation about legalities, but the whole thing is not a good look.
