throw everything you need to work outside (laptop, notepad, pen, mouse, whatever) in a cardboard box... take cardboard box outside, setup laptop inside cardboard box. looks stupid, costs nothing, works perfectly... as a full time WFH person for the last 11 years, this has been my go-to setup for my “summer office”
Unless you can get some kind of cover (umbrella) or relocate to a position where the sun isn’t hitting the screen, you may want to try working indoors during those hours.
I use a standard sized fabric storage cube from target or ikea and put my laptop in there for glare protection. It looks silly to have your hands fumbling in a cloth box but it solves the problem of glare
I just put an antiglare screen protector on my Macbook Pro for this very reason. It was a pain to put on, but worth it. I miss the clarity of the display, but I like it more than seeing myself. I get enough of that from Zoom.
