hes probs Peter Wisdom from Excalibur

I love everything star wars and that did nothing for me. I’m worried there’s something wrong with me.

The TV show watchers are learning what the comic book readers learned years ago: for all the wheel spinning it isn’t going anywhere.

I don’t think the third act was the only problem.

The book spends a lot of time dealing with financial problems, bullies, mean teachers, inn keeping etc.

I know a number of pro writer pals who love it and an equal number who hate it. The divide is pretty much along male/female lines too. Woman find Kvothe creepy. He literally stalks a woman in the second book because he feels he deserves to know what she does when not with him.

Its been a tough decision to get into the second book. I really, really disliked Kvothe in the first book. But the writing was good so I gave the second one a go. I’ve enjoyed it more.

Kvothe as a character is wholly unlikable but Rothfuss is a very skilled writer. I finished the first book and started on the second. Kvothe is more likable there. You definitely see Rothfuss’ go to structures and lines from chapter to chapter and that can get a bit tiresome but it really is the likability of Kvothe

    I noticed it. I just didn’t care.

Dume: Reeling from a devastating loss, the Ghost crew rallies together to find a new purpose and resolve.

    The Princess Bride

It’s pretty easy to ryhme lying with lying

Ah the old tech=asian racist thing going on as well

That costume tho, specifically the bat face logo, is not something I think looks good.

    Maybe they cloned her.

In one of the film’s funniest scenes most unsettling and least redeemable scenes, Chewbacca forgoes eating a roasted Porg when a bunch of other Porgs stare at him with horror.

That line is so good now

I wanted to love it but I just sort of liked it.

You can rip off Mike Mignola, the comic writer/artist and creator of Hellboy, Abe Sapien, et al. and the storyline about Abe Sapien this somewhat cribs, who is not involved with this production and is not benefiting from it financially.

It’s 100% obvious it’s ripped off of Abe Sapien. An article about the “character design” is just salt in that wound
