Ok, but I really am curious how someone who hasn’t read the comic would react to this, since presumably that’s going to be the majority of viewers.

Even more telling is when that same studio took the engine they created and used it to make a story driven single player comic book game (Guardians of the Galaxy),  it was great!

Depends but usually they are open a few days into November and put everything in sale. When pop Halloween stores were kinda a new thing and Spirit didn’t dominates the market the after Halloween discounts were sometimes insanely good deals. Some of those giant animated lawn displays going for 90% off.

Yes, it would not be very good to have Ferrell do his Trebek, and the chances of someone successfully revamping it with a clever take on either of the two new hosts is virtually nil.

It’s a trend that started awhile back with more brutal looking wrestling to stand apart from the oiled slab of beef style of the WWF. I remember Japan doing it, and the first I remember here was seeing some tapes of ecw live shows in the 90s.

It *is* a bit of a bummer that there weren’t more things in that vein, because the game is so, so good that after having just beaten it today, I am ready to turn around and play again just because I’m not done being in the world it paints—*but* it’d be nicer if I could add some sort of extra novelty on the second go.

The thing is Stray is very much not a AAA title and a lot of these companies like to make these smaller games and then move on.  So not sure we will see a NG+ or DLC for this  

For what it’s worth, the paddles on the Deck require quite a bit of force to activate.  I’ve never accidentally clicked one -- on the contrary, there have been a few times I meant to click one but didn’t squeeze hard enough.

I find these processes to always be super interesting.

I work in marketing, and this is absolutely either a raw-metrics strategy (i.e. whoever looks at the numbers only cares that the line goes up, not what’s done to make it happen) or an afterthought as part of the package deal EA signed with some ad agency, who in turn assigned it to the intern.
