no kidding. I was saying a bunch of hosannas about this, but if cabbies have to pay for the removal, I’d rather just put up with the annoying tv.

yeah. And all the “take back your wedding!!” advice seems misguided and not helpful. It places the focus back on the ideal of the perfect wedding, which is a dangerous myth.
This whole “one day that’s all about them” myth just needs to go away. it’s a wedding, a single event, not the culmination of everything that a person is going to accomplish in their lives. I mean, even if you believe in the Wedding Myth, plenty of people marry more than once, so...feel free to create another day…
this reminds me of the meme that went around about posters that said one thing to someone of avererage adult height, and a different message if being viewed at average child height - the idea was to give abducted or abused children a message that their captors couldn’t see, and the internet raved about such great out…
the article is about American Airlines, not United
well sure, the original FI was vastly different from Dollhouse, but the above description is rather close.
“Instead of casting another male lead, the series will center on a powerful woman who runs a San Francisco-based company that allows clients to experience their innermost fantasies, according to the Hollywood Reporter.”
It really is!
The lawsuit is still frivolous, but it’s not her fault. Don’t hate the players, hate the game.
in my high school, wearing catholic saints’ medals was all the rage. my brother was dating (later married) a catholic, and one time he yelled at me for wearing my st somebody medallion to a dinner where his future bride would be. honestly, it never occured to any of us that anyone would take those necklaces seriously,…
I can’t believe I just watched a segment from this show. The only other one I’ve ever seen (at the gym) was about one of the non-Kim sisters (I can’t tell them apart) waxing her bush. Is this all they ever talk about on the show?
It actually does not put an end to it one bit, in my experience.
Oh, memories: a friend and I used to take playing cards with us to the bar and play Spite and Malice over beers. Because that is fun. it’s less fun when dudes are constantly interrupting you ”whatcha playing? how do you play that game? wow, you’re really into the game? can I play?” NO NO NO NO NO NO fucking NO. From…
I’m imagining the Miss Manners response: fix that gauche lady with an ice cold stare down your nose and intone “And why do you need to know this?”
I’m glad I read this, because a Kit and Ace opened up in my neighborhood recently. I had no idea of the connection - I will now make sure to never set foot in that store.
ugh to those who are all “there’s no second hand smoke, so just DEAL”. In your own home even! Um, it still smells terrible.
I do NOT understand how smoking e-cigarettes (I can’t bring myself to use the term “vape”) became a thing that people do. In public, anyway. It’s like wearing Ed Hardy shirts - immediate ick alert.
I’m surprised at the “what’s the big deal?” tone here. Is it because the article sent to students was published on a sister site? Is it because it was sent to dudes (I’m guessing: at first I thought he’d sent it to female students but it sounds like not)?
I was just coming here to post about this. These women are so precious and twee. And positive - because only POSITIVE things will ever happen on this site, see?
WHYYY the distracting wig? The movie haircut is short and sorta normal enough that surely JGL’s own hair could have been pummeled into that shape and color, non?
