I buy expensive eggs because they have orange yolks instead of yellow, harder shells (this is a big deal since I get grocery delivery and not a one has cracked or broken), and they taste so much better - but mostly I do it because I feel SO MUCH BETTER about how the chickens are spending their lives. The “expensive” eggs never really was about nutrition for me. Frankly, I don’t buy them for their nutritive value. They taste great, and are fun to cook in about a billion ways.
