Meh, I don't really agree with this argument. Yes, every single reader has their own personal experience of those characters. That doesn't make those experiences correct as far as the story goes.

I like this definition.

Oh! I had that same moment of elation! I even shared it with my aunt, who I'd gotten to read the series with me (and she completely fell in love, naturally), and she's all "No, Belle, I don't think so. That seems like a stretch."

Ron is Dumbledore?

Not to mention how he felt that his relationship (platonic or otherwise) with Grindelwald had cost him the life of his sister, and had helped him alienate his brother, so he lost Grindelwald (whom he had to defeat personally, ouch), his sister, and his brother. To say nothing of his parents.

All the stars for you!

Yup. In my town, they had SERMONS about it.

Oh Rue.

The TARDIS.

Don't be riddikulus!

Oh jeez, I had no idea! How awful, the poor little ducks. Of course, this changes everything.

I had a boss like that. And in fact, he later became a police officer.

Take it from someone who had a dad that wasn't there at all, and a mom who was so drugged out that she didn't know her husband (my step-father) was raping her own daughter.

That...is...

Okay, there is a difference between "cool parent" and "total fucking moron."

I am SO doing this the next time my mom starts spouting off one of her "science is basically wrong about everything because demons and stuff" conspiracy theories.

Somewhat unrelated, but Black / White is an important descriptor when trying to locate or differentiate from one person to another.

The Bon Jovi & Mick Jagger one is completely my favorite. Because honestly, the laughter while they're dancing together? PERFECT. Honestly, I think it would be impossible not to laugh at acting that ridiculous. Srsly guys.

Ugh, I know. And my son, who isn't even four yet, already refers to his cop toys as "Bad Cop" or "He's the Bad Guy." Now, I would understand the "Bad Cop" thing if he had started doing it AFTER seeing The Lego Movie. But he didn't, it was before, and I'm not sure who he got it from.

This is what sickens me.
