Growing up, taking the R5 to Center City Philadelphia and going to lunch at Wanamakers was THE best—we still have one of the bags that came with the child's meal (which at the time would have an apple or orange, a coloring book, crayons and animal crackers). The last time we went there was shortly before it closed in

@LittleEdie: It's not online, but if you can get to a J.Crew Factory store, I've noticed that they use older prints for their lower-priced factory line, usually in similar silhouettes...

@Cafezinha: Because cereal and fruit snacks are, to some degree, processed, and we're accustomed to seeing branded processed foods on the store shelves. Commodities like produce and eggs tend to veer towards branding that says where the product is from, or that it's a reliable company (like Land O Lakes or Chiquita)

@hfree: I would have loved to have been behind the glass at the focus groups that tested this concept—and would love to know if they even tested it at all...

@privityofestate (is excited for the adventures of 4 effemin...: I was a total Peanuts nerd growing up (and still am, obviously per my above post) and I will own up to taking old sticker albums (remember those??) and such to play them out on the piano once I started taking lessons. Years later, I searched out the

@bellethellama: Or, you know, appreciate. Durr. My laptop's keyboard died this afternoon, so I'm getting used to working off a regular keyboard that is now attached to said lappy.

Here's a way to apprecuate the Schroeder/Beethoven connecton!

@BabyJane: And a friend for the monkey!

I don't understand why Vogue can't kill two birds with one stone by doing photoshoots in the super-fancy houses they feature every month—J.Crew did their March 2008 catalog, and it was such an amazing shoot. Perhaps having the moddles there would take away from the gorgeous homes, but come on....
