And devos just got confirmed with pence’s tie breaking vote.

Aimee, is drinking at work okay now? Because it’s 12:30 and I’m thinking that a good old-fashioned martini lunch would be kind of awesome.

That tweet was sent out a few minutes after an episode of Morning Joe where Scarborough was discussing the SNL skit, and also the Time Magazine “Great Manipulator” cover, and rhetorically posed the question “Is it true that Bannon is calling the shots?” So Trump obviously directly answered that he’s calling the shots.

He makes Dubya look like a fucking Rhodes scholar. This is the same Dubya who didn’t know how to put on his rain poncho at the inauguration.

I was gonna say... did this fucking moron just call SNL, a live comedy skit show, “Fake News”?

Do the old gimmick of having Trump look in the mirror. Baldwin plays Trump; Rosie O’Donnell plays the reflection.

So, no one told him that SNL isn’t ‘news’? I mean, they do Weekend Update...so I can see how one could be confused...

I read an article yesterday about cross-gender casting (specifically regarding the Spicer sketch, but it gave a nice little rundown of how men-dressed-as-women is a go-to for yuks), which rightly pointed out that there’s an extra bite to the rabid press monkey being portrayed by a woman. I love it. I wallow in how

okay, now we NEED Rosie to play Bannon...

It’s almost too bad they already have a great Trump, because he’d really lose his shit if Rosie O’Donnell were in the role.

If Trump thinks he has it bad over here, it is going to be 10x worse over there. The public is allowed to get ridiculously close in England, the first thing he will see out the window of AF1 will be protests and every second on the ground will be people yelling at him. He will be forced to see the hatred for him.

They are trying to set up a self-fulling fantasy through all their action, that when something does happen (only as a result of their actions) they can point and say “see we were telling the truth, this is what we were trying to protect against” and half the population will eat it up and demand more of their actions.

I think she’s lovely.

Until they actually do anything about it, they’re as bad as he is. Right now, all I see are some spineless jellyfish trying to preserve their credibility by publicly disagreeing with Trump when it costs them nothing to do so. Wake me when they actually block him from doing something.

The failing @nytimes writes total fiction concerning me. They have gotten it wrong for two years, and now are making up stories & sources!

I just wanted to share this pic. Taken from twitter about the LGBT protest. The commitment of this is legit

When I heard myself nodding to Mitch McConnell’s response — just an excerpt that was broadcast on NPR — and thinking “yes; that makes sense,” I realised how far we have fallen. Mitch McConnell as a voice of reason in the face of lunacy.
