When Homelander parrots his own “thoughts and prayers”, almost under his breath because he truly doesn’t care, it makes the satire perfect, especially given that it’s never brought up again.

Don’t forget the reference to pewdiepie that Stormfront made to Homelander’s boy was on point.

And repeated by Homelander with JUST enough casualness to show he understands just how empty and meaningless those words are, but so powerful and useful to project an aura of caring even as a sociopath.  Just brilliant writing, directing, and acting for that whole opener.

Came here to say this. Stormfront (an actual Nazi)  gave more lip-service condemnation in response to that shooting than we’ve heard from the president on terrorists like Kyle Rittenhouse. I guess the writers couldn’t have seen that coming.

I read the "Spanish Flu" name was due to freedom of the press. Spanish press was allowed to report whatever while many countries would not or could not report accurately on the Flu.

He was referring to PS4 games when that comment. Those are playable on the internal SSD and external HDD and of course if play on the SSD you’ll get those speedy load times.

When I had first read about this news I took it as “You won’t be able to play this PS4 game on your PS5".

Uh... am I being stupid? Because my assumption this whole time has been that it refers to The One Ring itself, which holds sway over the other rings of power:
“One ring to rule them all” = The Lord of the Rings.

I am willing to bet that Princess Peach has better lawyers than Hulk Hogan.

You’re saying that in response to me saying “I’m not a fan of exclusive games” as a header, so we already agree on that. You then took part of what I wrote and removed it from context in a shitty way to make a point.

I’m not a fan of exclusive games, but when you actually produce the damn thing and have done so for a studio’s entire lifespan then I’m not too torn up about it.

Nothing about this announcement even remotely suggests their games will be multi-plat let alone strongly suggests lol. 

GameCube was pretty solid. It had Smash Melee, Wave Race, Pikmin, Luigi’s Mansion, and Rogue Squadron 2, plus the system had solid third party support so Madden, Tony Hawk, etc. made it as well.
