Not sure what studies you have read but everything I read showed Bernie beating Trump (though they also thought Clinton would win just Bernie won by a bigger margin). You can even see now with him going on Fox that he can win over Trump voters better than she could.

If the choice is Biden v Trump, the end result won’t matter in the long run. The choice will be obvious in the short run, Trump needs to go, but the next Trump (and there will be another Republican who wins president) will be even worse.
