The Elise is pretty amazing, especially with the exposed gear linkage in the new ones (a detail, but so nice). They’re questionable reliability-wise and the clamshell design makes for outrageously expensive bodywork, but if I could’ve stretched my budget, I’d be driving one of those instead of an MX-5 right now.
