I believe Wright decided that getting those two together was only for very special events, hence the reason why they didn't cameo in "Scott Pilgrim" as the Vegan Police. (That and Wright wanted to work with all American/Canadian actors. Almost worked, too, expect for Ramona Evil Ex #1).

So you might say "Hot Fuzz" is for…

…Chicken isn't vegan?

That final line from Raylan was perfect, in the sense that I could actually have seen it on the last page of a Leonard novel. Well done, Yost.

As you should. You were probably the best of commenters when it came to corralling the comments for this show during the (sporadic) coverage from the AV Club.

The greater good.

Trippingly.

…and that's why I avoid the "Today Show" like the plague. Even prior to the inauguration of President 45.

Quiet, you.

To a Wilhelm scream.

(Guess I'm not getting that promotion after all)

I do wish we saw more of her as female Rick-from-"Casablanca," honestly. Sure, Han Solo covers that terrain fairly well in IV, but surely there's room for more than one low-down crook in the Star Wars verse?

Because it takes place a long time ago?

Sorry "All the President's Men!" We don't need need Deep Face as a Hutt!

Like the Spacebars stunt doubles!

Still amazed he pulls off a Fincher cameo for that movie. Up there with Landis' contributions to director cameos.

Oh, that would've actually been clever!

Roight?

That would've been glorious, and it's a damn shame they didn't have that in there (after all, it wouldn't have looked less ridiculous, am I right?)

Excellent point vis-a-vis Leia and Tarkin. I suppose after getting so. much. Tarkin, seeing Leia for a quick second seemed like the model of restraint. So in that effect, they brutalized us into accepting it.
