Let’s not forget that there was also a planet named Neelgaimon.

So... two more patches until people should bother buying it?
I grew up in the age of Dragon’s Lair, SNES Lion King, and corpse runs in EverQuest. I’ve served my time and am now fine with chilling a little and enjoying the story vs hyping up on adrenaline and muscle memory.
No, I don’t remember that at all. Of course, that’s because I started coming here when my previous go-to video game site was taken over by gamergaters and I checked out everyone on their boycott list and found this and two other sites that are my main gaming sites now.
I think “Fuck Bobby Kotick” might be one of those few things that both parties can agree on.
There are a few really interesting mechanics that are not well implemented. Combat is far more dynamic than many MMOs (but I miss classes). The town improvement thing is pretty cool (but has many flaws - like, on my server, many towns degraded severely due to the companies controlling them leaving).
What I’m hearing is that if the title is a three syllable word, followed by a year between, say 2041 and 2078, you should probably steer clear of it until you can pick it up for $10. And maybe not even then.
Pyromaniac arsonists are generally a bad choice for putting out fires.
This. While GW2 definitely has some problems (and I’m not really fond of ArenaNet’s behavior in some cases), their instanced nodes and how they handled group combat solved so many problems that I am astounded that every MMO since hasn’t done the same thing.
This may be an easier way to get a PS5 than what some other people have done. :D
I care less about the adultery than the adultery paired with self-righteousness and performative Christianity.
I think it’s more of a “he joined a spiteful megachurch and got into performative Christianity while dumping one wife (who said she felt forced into the divorce) to pick up another less than a year later”. i.e. It really looked like he had an affair, pulled a switcheroo, then suddenly got really into raising giant…
Someone probably regrets leaving Google. Which is kind of a statement on its own.
“a scantily clad reclining woman in Ravenholdt has met the strange fate of becoming a bowl of fruit.”
For me, someone who likes single player RPGs and isn’t really into the online stuff unless it’s a full blown MMORPG, the three console generation stretch of GTAV, Skyrim, and the lengthy wait for Fallout 5 are mainly just an constant annoyance.
I see three degrees of “remaking” nostalgia games:
I promised myself I wouldn’t buy anything for the PS5 that I also had on the PS3...
I wish I had known this was a thing. I grew up in a tiny, isolated town and my self-coded BASIC games on my Commodore 64 were pretty much trash and I would have loved this magazine.
I picked this up very early in Early Access, played for an hour or so, went “meh” and went on my way.
Couldn’t agree more. Playing SR2 co-op with a friend is one of my favorite gaming memories. Not in the least because we modeled our characters after ourselves, so it was two heavyset, middle aged teachers running amok. The later SR games were okay, but felt a little more edgelord-y and less goofy fun.
