Hmmm. I teach a high school Mythology and Fantasy class and read a lot to find new books for the class. I think it was Evan Winter’s Rage of Dragons the first week and Maya Motayne’s Nocturna the second week.

This is exactly how I got one in December. There is a Walmart near where I work that opens at 7. I need to be at work by 7:30. I’d show up at WalMart at 6:30 with a book, read for half an hour and either be told there weren’t any, or that I was 5th in line and they had 3. Eventually, I was first in line and they had…
You can start movement, switch to next unit, start movement, rinse, repeat until you get back to first unit at their destination.
It can’t be helping that their names are Angel and Skye. :D
Overseeing a shitty culture and then praising that culture when you’re shown the door is peak asshat.
59 years old?!?!
People whoare seriously upset by their inability to hurt themselves in this game, seem like the people are who would most benefit from having that material removed.
I have to be at work by 7:30. 2 miles from where I work is a Walmart that opens at 7am. I’d leave the house at 6:30 with a book, chill outside the front door and read until 7am, when they’d open the door and say, “None today” or “we have 1 / 3 / 5" for who ever is first in line.” Took me a couple weeks, but eventually…
I wish I had the startup money for a game development company and just make our motto “We fire assholes”. Probably get some pretty awesome talent, just off that.
Thanks for the advice. I look forward to learning how software development works.
This. I buy those kinds of games because I want a new setting, better graphics, and maybe a new thing you can do (Welcome to GTA: San Andreas, you can swim now!). But I really don’t care that much if it’s essentially the same game.
I don’t really know what else Kotaku could have done, I’m just not sure what the benefit is for Sony to release a trailer without a release date. Either they know when the release date is (either specifically or “Holiday 2021") or they don’t. If they do know the release date, they should include it in the trailer. If…
It’s not like there’s PS5 inventory sitting around that they need to hype though. Resellers are still getting away with $300 markups. There is zero need for Sony to markets something that is in so much demand that it's hard to find it.
I have the opposite response. Why would you hype up your game if you don't know when you'll be able to release it? It's not like they're trying to sell Beta passes or something. Don't market merchandise that doesn't exist yet.
This is exactly my boat. Managed to pick it up at a Walmart in late November. I enjoyed playing Cyberupnk on it as I also picked it up for $30 and I’m sure there’s load time differences in Valhalla and a few other things I’ve played on it. But the lack of PS5 exclusives makes it a lot more meh.
Picked up a physical copy a couple months in when I saw it for $30 at WalMart. Played the PS4 version on the PS5 and had maybe two problems, one they patched and the other went away when I left the area and returned.
Deeply disappointed none of them mocked you for a chair that didn't stay on the payload.
My wife and I both taught from home for months. I got a standing desk; she got a "gamer chair". I admit jealousy.
Somebody on the City Beautification Board (or whatever) absolutely chose that color and design intentionally.
It’s not a game, it’s an experience.
