They were designed in the 60's, but they’re not reusable, so they’re still manufacturing new ones. They’ve also been updated several times since the 60's and have an excellent service history, both the rocket and capsule, far better than STS.

I am excited and confused by this website, for example:

One idea I had was just a 1-ton with a flat-bed dump.  It wouldn’t be a daily driver, but it wouldn’t be too big to go to Lowe’s to buy lumber and I’ve always had a hard-on for a dump truck (Dad had one when I was a kid and it was great the couple times per year he used it after he stopped farming, but probably not

I have had a similar thought. My husband and I are moving back to my family farm soon (looks like Q1 2019, maybe even Jan). I was thinking about a side-by-side ute, but then I thought about older CJ’s. Since the doors come off, you could jump in and out quickly, but still put the doors and roof back on in the winter.

We know you $kay.  Although I’m surprised DT didn’t pull a muscle from cringing so hard.  I couldn’t help thinking Ryan got to spend time with and make a video with my #1 nerdcrush, and spent the whole time (I presume) making him cringe.

I think Torch would go along with it and probably add made up facts of his own.  Of course, he knows so many esoteric facts about VWs that it would be hard to know if he made them up or he was talking about some Brazil or South Africa variant.

Except I can’t actually purchase anything for $1.5 million.  With careful planning n’shit, I could by a $30k Elise.  Of course, I didn’t get where I am today with careful planning.

I need to make note of this. I live near Spartanburg, SC.

I get a little agitated when I think anyone is making fun of my #1 nerdcrush for reals.

I wish I had known about this a long time ago - my dad wore speedsuits all the time. He had the ones from the plant that he wore around the farm n’stuff then this nicer ones that were his goin’ out coveralls.

Ort to had a role cage

You’re not kidding.

They were trying to appeal to their demographic by making them look like something their buyers were used to: suppositories.

BUMPER-TO-BUMPER

Now playing

Well if we’re going down this rabbit hole:

I already commented with the “I saw it in the window and just had to have it” line from that scene, but I just realized that would make a great drag costume.
