@CuyahogaKate: Fanaticism? No way, just a bunch of obsessed people that can talk about nothing else, have their entire weeks ruined by a game, and write Valentine hearts to Tressel. Oh wait, that's fanaticism, huh?

@pattismithowns: Cincinnati Chili! Elixir of the gods. I guess this is the time to admit that I order cans of Skyline chili from Ohio to be shipped to Texas. The Texans would kill me.

How about we do away with all of the semantic terms and these assholes just accept the fact that abortions are legal? Until they're not, label me how you want. If abortions become illegal then they can call me a criminal.

@miiintyfresh: I love this place. See, my oasis. Your replies made me feel so much better this morning. And I would wear every single one of those 16 stars all of the time. Thank you and both hearted!

@the zeeba is your mamacita: Aww, thank you so much. However, if he slipped, my sister would probably be expected to massage his ass cheeks or something ;-)

So this day has sucked. My sister finally left her abusive disgusting boyfriend and I got her safely ensconced in my parent's house after 3 1/2 years. She needs to go over to the house she shared with him to move her elliptical machine downstairs for a pickup tomorrow. We go over and the moron boyfriend has locked

@PhillyLass: Whew! I couldn't get that off my mind. I mean that very day, I was finally able to get my sister to the point where she left her horribly sexually abusive boyfriend. And I was with a domestic violencer (yep, I made that phrase up), so the thought that I may have came off wrong bothered me greatly.

@marywv8633: I think what Rhianna did was amazing. She didn't go back to him! Whether she wants to be a role model or not, there's no denying that somewhere at least 1 girl will follow her lead. And there's never a conclusion without an introduction.

OK, this is open thread and I'm gray so nobody will see this. One more time, I am going to brag shamelessly as I left LJ and haven't mentioned it since:

@Rocket Queen: I didn't even go anywhere, isn't that sad?! I stayed home with the hubby and partied and he's zonked out.

@kayke: Isn't it amazing when you find a dr. that actually has the time to care? It's like angels singing from heaven it feels so good. It's so hard to make progress on yourself when you're that stressed and busy. It's very easy to get lost and it takes a very strong person to keep it together and get help for

@Rocket Queen: Not that your hangover is funny, but I just came on here at 8:00 am because I still haven't gotten to sleep!

@PhillyLass: because it's been bothering me all night, I'm tipsy, and I won't be able to sleep - I want to clarify that I don't in any way feel that the crime was petty. I was kidding about being petty because of ya know, being all happy that something bad happened to him.

Congrats, Anna and Jezebel!

...going to have to try embedding again

@PhillyLass: Said so much better than I. All I can add to your excellent comment is that you are so right and it's about time society at least begins the process of letting these men know that it doesn't matter who you are - you commit violence against a woman, you lose society's support.

I love love love that Chris Brown's career is over because of a domestic violence crime. I don't care if it's petty. Suck it you coward.
