I’m okay with this.
I’m okay with this.
I usually assume it’s to facilitate looking straight down in front. But that makes NO sense with this freaking thing.
Checked with my dad, his first reaction was “think it was gray, or blue?”. There weren’t many, though. Almost certainly the same car. Small damned world.. I do miss that track. Those were some good times.
Eeeeeyup.
Mick Molte covered that in his comment. With the Subies, at least you know it’s coming when you buy the car. There’s no wondering whether yours is one of the lucky 3-15% with a factory-lit fuse.
Amen.
Absolutely. But compare this response to those for cracking subframes and IMS bearings.

Well, b’gosh!
My pulse..... IS RACING!

I year-rounded an ‘85 for 8 years. Between a tube of sand in the back and any tires other than Goodyears, the Posi and stellar throttle response made anything under 4" no big deal. Except getting stopped in traffic for a light that one time going up an incline I never previously realized was even an incline.. That…
Did you not?
Looking back, there were plenty of idiosyncrasies/quirks that I can’t imagine absorbing today, but at the time.... I loved those things. Used to watch one wipe the floor with RX-7s and such at Mid America Raceway.
The profiling at the TSA is really getting out of hand.
