I believe the proper form is “camaraderie.

$6200 for a 32 year old Camry? High book is less than half the asking. I’d consider maybe $3500 because it’s clean. There’s thousands of newer cars for less money than this thing

I read some statistic to the effect that the average Bugatti buyer owns something like 19 cars and at least one private jet. If you have that kind of money, you probably aren’t daily driving anything because commutes are for plebes.

That only happens to Lambos, dude.

That’s a pretty pricey car. Be a real shame if something happened to it.

It’s a beautiful car and I love the cloth seats, but for that kind of money it has to be an inline 6. ND.

ND Once again we are presented with a car that’s rare, well kept and has low mileage; but nobody gives a flying flick for it. These were forgettable in the 90s, why would it be collectible now?

The circular eurostyle headlights is such a better look. On the MK2 Golfs the circle headlights make the car look timeless vs. the 80's style rectangles.

Thank you for not making a slideshow out of this. Solid article too.

Was totally expecting a slideshow but clicked anyway because I was interested. Pleasantly surprised, thank you.

I feel that NHSTA design guidelines would make this argument as moot as the cabover design. But I wonder if feeding mayonnaise directly to tuna would make tuna fish salad....

As usual with these things, the odometer reading tells you what a joy it really is. And at 5,000, the answer is “not at all”.

Here is a car I encountered while I was in Italy.  It is a PT Cruiser hearse.   What does it have in common with the “MG”?  I wouldn’t be caught dead in either one.  :-)

All the motoring joy I had with my Chevette, but floppier and with less protection from the elements! What’s not to love?

Sorry to hear about your relative. I am going through the same thing for myself. My last ride is a ’66 Jag 3.8 S Type and the kind Jalops helped me decide on it. First thing I would do is to talk to the doctor and find out how she will degrade. Will she become weak, dizzy, in pain, or be fine up to the last few weeks?

Arranging books by colour is book arranging for people who do not read!

I’ve long thought that this story is one of the most amazing parts. He’s landing somewhere we’ve never been, somewhere completely uninhabited, and he still has to literally find a place to park the lander which was not designed for that situation. It’s unreal, and not publicized enough.

The best option, if it’s financially feasible, is to get a two year lease on a brand new Mustang Convertible. I can guarantee that the payments will be about the same as buying a car for $25K plus (not to sound insensitive), when she’s gone, Ford can just take the car back. No hassle in trying to sell and you can do

Your move, Trader Joe’s... and your ridiculously tiny parking lots.
