"the average household income for adult owners of Mac computers is $98,560, while the average PC-owning adult brings home a slightly less handsom $74,452."

Wow. Final nail, Windows Mobile coffin.

If you're getting bored with the iPhone, why would you switch to a device that is similarly locked down in appearance? Android is the only smartphone option that allows you to completely change the look of your device completely, whenever you choose.

Finally, a real-life bag of holding...

This is a direct quote from an email by Tim Cook:

Man, what is with the quality of Engadget writing these days? That headline is one of the worst attempts at english I've ever seen.

Buzz kill, jeez.

...and what were you doing with yourself at age 19? If it didn't involve patents, space travel (Star Trek doesn't count) or "odd quirks" of quantum physics, then stow that snark.

I don't get it. I jailbroke my 2nd gen Apple TV like 6 months ago with Seas0nPass. Is this new because of the "untethered" part?

Meh. I understand the goal, but their metaphors (stitched leather, legal pads, desk calendars etc.) seem to be aimed at 60 year old lawyers. What's next, extremely shiny cherry wood app icon shelf, green marble "answer call" button and shiny gold slide to unlock bar?

Hah, totally. "Check it, bro! This bar called Lexington is PACKED with bitches!"

The problem is that they didn't disclose its alleged "beta" status in the TV commercials, which is where most people learned about the device - NOT a press release.

virtually all US venues have exclusive contracts with one of the major ticket vendors. In fact, virtually all US concerts are put together by one of a tiny handful of companies, many of which are owned by one of the major ticket vendors.

I think it references the smell of several thousand hippies taking their shoes off to "boogie."

The number this calculator gave me is only slightly different than what most other calculators provide using the 3500 calories = 1 pound of loss assumption.

In other text I've read, they did say it would cost them a lot of money to implement and that it would probably be a paid service.

I've been a big Android fan/user for the past 2 years, but just last week switched back to the iPhone because, in part, of shit like this.

Interesting idea but none of them will ever do this - they feel that the only way to differentiate is the use of these skins and custom software. Without those things, every Android device is just a hardware war. Under those conditions, Android devices become fully commoditized, prices plummet and every manufacturer

If they included WP7 in their "Essential Apps" guide, it'd be the same 3 apps every week.
