Primal killed the rest of the franchise for me. It was so different from the earlier ones in how much I felt like I was fighting and uphill battle to not only save my tribe but just to avoid becoming lunch for a sabertooth, slowly piecing together better tools but they were still pretty finite in number and required

This reads like a paragraph out of A Clockwork Orange.

You come off like the fun police

Yes. That episode is awesome and I feel I may need to download it to a hard drive or something before it gets yanked.

That was not my interpretation of the card at all. It sounded more like a mad scientist trope. It seems like we’re just trying to find things to be mad about.

The music and overall soundscape is top notch. And I do think that the storytelling is very well done and actually quite effective. I just think the Joel type has suffered from some oversaturation in media, and where I’m at today versus where I was at release definitely colors my impression of him this time around.

While I wouldn’t say I’m enjoying these games more than the depressing games (for instance I’m loving the sadness/gore-fest of TLOU2), I AM all the more happy to have these kinds of bright, pure-joy kinds of games. It makes me happy when developers are aware of the range of styles that can be engaging.

Comments like yours tilt me to be honest. Your like 1 cm away from saying the game is targeting queer women. And the game 100% in no way at all even points in that general direction. Ellie’s sexual orientation has legit ZERO to do with what is going on within the “main” story of the game. If she was queer or straight

See, that’d make sense if there was like... a few thousand reviews even? It doesn’t make sense for that to be the case with THIRTY TWO THOUSAND reviews in a few DAYS!

I almost never look at user scores when deciding to watch a movie, play a game, or read a book. Rotten Tomatoes is much more valuable for its critical score than its user score. People are too easily influenced and, unfortunately, usually a lot less thoughtful about things than paid professionals. I imagine Metacritic

Pretty sure people aren’t fine with either of those unless they’re adding sizable content like an expansion.

I’m just massively tired and having anemia issues, so I’m laid up and reading webcomics on an ipad. Go read Not Another Cliche and Not Drunk Enough. Animal Crossing is super great too.

“Now, more than ever, we will let you buy our product.”

I decided to do a replay fo the Dishonored games and am at the moment in the second to last mission in Dishonored 2. To be completely honest, somehow Dishonored 2 is even better than I remembered it to be and I am constantly amazed how much nuance and fun stuff there is in that game. Although it also made me laugh as

It takes a lot to get me to watch Josh Gad. My love of Veep wasn’t enough to get me to watch his new HBO show, and my absolute adoration of Bob’s Burgers and Home Movies isn’t enough to get me to watch this.

It’s Texas Redneck. Has a different flavor from Ozark Redneck, Alabama Hick, Nashville Southerner, Missouri Bumbkin, or Florida.

Super Mega Baseball is soo good! Hype for 3

What, you weren’t already jaded from that 2005 Killzone 2 trailer?

I'm sorry you're this person. The pain must be overwhelming.

As soon as I saw the title, all I could think of was a recent Onion article.
