I disagree with a lot of what you are saying here. I do wish that Kerr said more, but you can’t just jump from “he didn’t say what I wanted him to say about this issue” to “stick to sportzzzz!”

I don’t really know when this switch was flipped, but it is no longer important or good for a business/company to just make a profit. Somehow, someway, they have to make more than that, as there is always a way to make more, people and consequences be damned.

This is why there is a pretty big movement in the business world away from data-driven decision making. It’s not that anyone thinks using data to drive decisions is wrong, it’s that everyone now agrees actually tracking the right metrics to get the right answers is *really* hard without the benefit of hindsight.
Because people buy condo’s and such in secure buildings many times, because they want - some level of security. And now all of a sudden, you have lots of unescorted visitors in your building. It might as well not be a secure building anymore.
