i, too, hate it when i accidentally do a public racism.

Okay, I’ll bite.

What you are missing is the connection to the original problem.

The thing is, protests are symbolic actions, designed to point to a specific issue. Thus, it’s not Kaep sitting or kneel just for the helluvit, but to shine a light on police brutality and systemic oppression of POC by the criminal justice

It probably would have made more sense for Jerry Jones to provide a statement to the media condoning the support of his organization for his players’ rights to demonstrate as a form of protest for injustice and commit funds to support initiatives within the community to help correct some of those injustices. Instead

Look, I understand that you are upset about black people being murdered, but can we discuss it in a way that removes the black people and the murder? That would make me much more comfortable.

True. As I fear, the desire to have on respectable librarians, authors, and grad students trumps the triumphant introduction of “A semi-literate idiot savant Approved Deadspin Commenter from Chicago, IL....”

I too saw the new exhibit at the guggenheim “A study in impotence and insecurity, portraits from the gun range” but my favorite item was resentment III.

Now playing

We all dream of getting that Mr. Claven dream board if we can get a spot on that show.

Yes, must love the, “you can’t comment on his intellect because you’re a bad football player!”

No, that’s not how that works at all. If you want me to not critique his football playing because I suck at football, that’s a reasonable argument, however, I actually know my history, so I’m more than qualified to critique

If my husband was too dumb to find his way out of a locker room, I’d keep it to myself.

re: Amy’s answer - I don’t understand the people who voted for Trump but are suddenly NOW seeing the error of their ways. There is absolutely nothing that Trump has done that couldn’t have been easily predicted based on how he conducted himself during the campaign. There has been no shift, no pivot. How is it that

Haha, I don’t know. I was just trying to make some money in college while maybe helping some student athletes to be better at math? Just posted at the outset to say that it didn’t surprise me to see that Eifert’s lack of intellectual curiosity had persisted post-college.

Basic humanity’s probably too much to hope for.

See also Eric trump.

Remember that old X-Files episode (first season I think) that had the Flukeman monster? Well, he was more attractive and less of a monster that Rick Scott.

Well just who is supposed to help me with my math and gambling?! I keep trying, but my stupid emotions always get in the way!

Alas for the sake of the story, a very professional and preppy JCrew type - though I wouldn’t put it past Baba Yaga to disguise herself when necessary....the cackle just gives her away sometimes!

Wait, you can help with my gambling? Wanna go to Vegas???

As a person on the spectrum, the trailers for this show have me pretty riled up. Oh yay, another show depicting an autistic person who is brilliant yet, HE DOESN’T GET PEOPLE. Yah see, because autistic people are robots without emotions who can help you with your math and gambling!

I tutored Tyler Eifert in college and he was without a doubt the dumbest person I tutored in the 3 years I did. He is showing his grasp on history and global politics is no stronger than his grasp on pre-calculus ever was.

Get ready for his redemption tour after he gets out. Guaranteed he already has a book deal.
