Oh hey, it’s today’s reminder that fandom is inherently toxic.

Do you blame political activists when the barista gets your order wrong at Starbucks too?

To Thrall! The cause of, and solution to, all of Azeroth’s problems!”

Bragging? No. I didn’t say it to boast. I simply stated I did it because why should someone who does something that is morally and legally responsible have to hide it, while crimes are elevated to meme and legend status? I was raised on “if you see something, say something.”

Wow, the Reddit trolls are out in force. This isn’t “just” a leak. He didn’t buy a legal copy early, or even violate a review embargo. This guy allegedly stole multiple copies and was reselling them for profit. The people who are defending it as “who cares if Microsoft is missing a few thousand dollars” are the exact

Star Wars if you fed it into Midjourney.

Fucking braindead take, these toxic kids are far more likely to have been the bullies.

‘We have Star Wars at home’

Snyder fans have already declared Rebel Moon the greatest movie ever and are demanding a director’s cut.

He’s an idiot. His fans are idiots.

God and Jesus should’ve told him ahead of time to rethink this stupid plan.

So once again, blaming your audience rather than blaming what actually is the problem: Poor writing

Well, I mean, there’s a time and place to criticize union leadership and in the middle of labor action that was voted on with high-90s approval probably isn’t the best time?

Especially when the people you’re striking against literally own the media, so they have the home field advantage re: twisting any news story to

That was only ever the PS3, and they course-corrected. Meanwhile my household still needed to buy two Xbox 360s because of the red ring, so it’s not like MS was winning or anything.

He’s not correct. Condoms have had exclusives since at least *Atari 2600*. Sony uses and often abuses exclusives (meaning third party excited), but by no means did they invent the practice. They weren't even *interested* in game consoles when exclusive games were born.

The CEO is not correct, at least in the sense that this is not a thing that Sony started. This has literally been how the industry has worked for decades.

Be quiet, Microsoft. Everything you’re accusing Sony of doing (paying studios for console exclusivity, keeping DLC exclusive to one platform over others, etc), you have also done in the past.

He sounds like an asshole with poor fiscal decision making.

Of course he is. And we are free to call his opinion shit and to call your breathless defense of someone who wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire a sad display by a pathetic simp.

You know, considering how awful and intrusive Kotaku’s ads are on mobile, I think it’s kind of hilarious to see you calling out what is fairly benign (albeit also still pretty crappy) compared to your own site’s ads, which are massive and page engulfing.
