I had to tell my husband I wouldn’t be going with him and his parents on a southern riverboat cruise. I already had to deal with his racist, Trump-voting, jet-fuel-can’t-melt-steel-beams father at the Sept. 11 Memorial Museum. I can’t imagine, between Trump’s win and touring plantations, the amount of ignorant…
When I was 13, I told my liberal CPA father that the flat tax was a good idea.
Maybe Boss Hog if you have beer goggles on....
I came home before curfew once when I was 17. The house was filled with the frantic screams of my mother. When I ran upstairs to my parents’ room, I found that she had not fallen in the shower, instead she and my dad were vigorously going at it.
Okay, but on the very dim bright side, even though every other ad on the radio and television here are anti-CCM, she is still ahead by one point! And we have two pretty big universities where there wouldn’t be landlines to call for polling, and I don’t know anyone under 40 with a landline (and no one except my racist…
I weep for the loss of Senator Reid. He has done so many wonderful things for Nevada, and people won’t appreciate it until he’s long gone and our state glows from the amount of radiation waste they’re dumping in our desert and every town has a childhood cancer cluster.

I am so excited to vote for Catherine Cortez-Masto - not only is she amazing, she will be the first female Senator from Nevada and the first Latina in the Senate.
Re: Tom Hiddleston
It’s essentially ‘Free the Swastika.’
I get sucked in watching the first couple episodes of each season, imagining all the great things that can happen. But then by episode 3 or 5, I realize it’s not going anywhere but in a downward spiral, and give up. However, I usually catch them on the FX streaming app or Netflix, it’s not appointment-viewing…
I loved it. I can’t wait to show it to my little nieces instead of the princess crap they’re always fed.
In this instance, though, it reads like they knew off the bat, when meeting, their mother-son relationship, not had an are-you-serious against the odds discovery after falling in love and starting families together. That makes a huge amount of difference, in my opinion. One is meeting someone you think is a stranger…
