You’re absolutely right — there’s a WORLD of difference between an M3 and a 328. Hell there’s a world of difference between the M3 I had and the 335i that I have right now. An M3 — in E30, E36, E46 or E92 form — is great. A 328 is ... fine?

Oh good lord — it is not the ultimate driving machine. You have to stop buying the bullshit that BMW is selling. I’m on my third BMW. My 650 Gran Coupe was a steaming pile of shit, my M3 was great and my 335 is fine, but it’s not M3. That truly is a fantastic car. It’s also the exception among what BMW builds.

Dude, I have a 335i with the Dinan Stage 3 package, which is more of a performance car than yours — and I can tell you that my car does not corner amazingly. It corners well. I had an E92 M3 before that, and THAT car cornered amazingly. The torque on my car also is (significantly) more than yours, and it’s good, but

Agreed.

With all due respect, you have a 328. You have neither luxury nor performance.

In general, the premise that luxury vehicles are less reliable because they’re more complex is absolute bullshit. I like Jason’s videos, but this is just crap.

If Porsche actually employs a designer, s/he probably gets to work around 11, has a heavy lunch, takes a nap, draws up a couple of things in crayon, then goes on vacation for three months.

This is a creative way to screw consumers dumb enough to be hoodwinked by this.

My favorites are the guys who drive a Chevy/Ford and then have and image of some kid pissing on a Chevy/Ford logo. These companies don’t give a shit about us. I don’t know why some people defend their honor like they’re defending their sister against being called a slut by the backup quarterback of the high school

Go to a gun show or a Wal-Mart. You’ll see exactly who’s wearing those hats.

You’re underestimating the ineptitude of Democrats in fielding another unlikeable candidate. These are the people, after all, who have kept Pelosi and Schumer in power. With decisions like these, we may be doomed for another four years (oh holy fuck!!!) of The Orange Menace.

I don’t know about about our ability to improve a species when it comes to instantaneous pleasures — I mean, come on, we’re a bunch of dumbasses who are not that far removed from dragging out knuckles — but your fundamental point is correct. A $25k Camry is getting 300 horses these days, which means it would

He was never relevant — not in 1996 or any other year.

You can keep any car on the road past 200k miles, 300k miles, 400k miles, etc. The issue is how much it costs to keep it on the road. Yes, plenty of Audis and BMWs with high mileage, but the cost to operate them is much, much higher than comparable Japanese or American cars.

States’ rights here would be superseded by the federal government’s right to regulate interstate commerce.

Why didn’t cops just wait for the next Cars and Coffee event in Colorado and wait for this guy/girl to wreck him/herself?

There’s just no sense in buying this car at all when there are so many better used options out there.

You, sir, are absolutely correct.

The SS sold like shit, and this will sell like shit, too.

At that point, that car will be worth $20k. Very few brands depreciate like a Kia, and this one will depreciate terribly because there will be SO MANY BETTER USED OPTIONS OUT THERE.
