Very little of what Cadillac does these days makes any sense.
Very little of what Cadillac does these days makes any sense.
At least the old QPs had gorgeous interiors. The interiors in the current lineup of Maserati are complete trash. The brand is an insult at this point.
Exactly -- these things drive like crap. Their straight-line performance numbers are worse than comparable German cars. And, unlike the Germans, they can’t hide that weight. Modern Maseratis feel heavy and sloppy.
Maserati interiors used to be awesome -- until they decided to go mass market. Now, they’re cheap crap.
This pretty much sums up Maserati in a paragraph.
Any interior from Genesis is much nicer than what Maserati is producing.
This is the correct answer — modern Maseratis are crack pipe at any price.
Maseratis used to have at least some cool factor to them. But as soon as they went into mass production a few years ago, that was lost. These cars come with none of the benefits of performance luxury cars and all of the drawbacks. They don’t…
YEAH!!! You got ‘em, bro -- BRILLIANT analysis.
????????
There was no negligence here at all.
Completely wrong. Yes, the lawyer was wrong — but he made a very creative argument. If he was successful, he would have earned $70k for himself. By not being successful, he cost his client absolutely nothing. Remember, the client still has a verdict for $40k.
The court didn’t fuck anything up. The focus of the decision wasn’t on the word “perform” — which the blogger here inaccurately contends — but instead was on the intent of the legislature. This law was meant to guard against fraudulent behavior — of which there was none here. It was not mean to guard against negligent…
Yes, I’m sure we need a guy like you to do it.
Idiot.
Correct.
That’s not at all what the decision says. The problem is that Aaron Gordon just did a really shitty job of reporting.
Divide $70k by $300 per hour, which is what an experienced attorney could charge. That’s about 233 hours.
Lehto is wrong and self-serving.
There was an alternative pleading of negligence. That’s why the $40k still stands.
The reason that the lawyer you spoke to for this article takes this position is because Steve Lehto is an attorney in Michigan who handles these kind of cases.
