How did it take so long to get here?
How did it take so long to get here?
The execution was crap because the idea was crap.
Agreed. They’re ugly and add virtually no practicality.
That may be the ugliest Ferrari ever.
You don’t like it because it looks stupid.
Yeah, Toyota doesn’t know how to make ads at all. That’s why they barely sell any cars at all.
I disagree. Toyota has shown that when it truly wants to build a great car, it can.
I agree. I love a great V8, but in the future, the only benefit that a traditional engine will have over a hybrid or completely electrical engine is the sound of it. That’s an insignificant benefit that is dwarfed by all the other things like simplicity, economy, weight, torque, power, displacement, reliability,…
That’s exactly what I was thinking. Is he a dwarf? Is this some kind of gigantoid car from another universe?
Anywhere.
It’s just so awesome that he’s not taking the easy way out. He knows that even with all his success, he’s going to catch flak for these comments — especially in Texas — from a lot of people, but he doesn’t give a shit. He knows that because of who he is, when he says stuff like this, it’s going to be news, and…
Trump will call him overrated.
There are two truly great coaches in US professional sports. It’s reassuring to see that the one coaching basketball is thoughtful and is not an asshole.
If you’re a watch collector and watch aficionado who knows what he’s looking at and why he wants it, then $5k to $10k for a watch is not dumb. I have a few watches in this price range, and I enjoy all of them. I bought each of them for very particular reasons having to do with the combination of craftsmanship,…
Watch pricing makes zero sense. The RGM you mentioned is better in, literally, every way than anything Richard Mille has ever produced— better design, case, movement finishing, etc., but RM has the name. That’s what people who don’t know any better like.
It’s even uglier, which is quite an achievement.
If you like chains in your watch but are willing to settle for belts and have an extra $50k laying around, I’d like to recommend the TAG Heuer V4. It is one of the only TAGs that’s worth buying.
Now THAT is a magnificent watch that shits all over the RM.
Not a remotely accurate analogy.
That website is shit. They cream their pants over $130k hideous Rolexes in awful condition. It’s a website for people looking to invest in watches rather than for watch aficionados. (This is particularly dumb because most watches make for terrible investments.)
