I was at Olympic Stadium for Gwynn's 3,000th hit. With the exchange rate being wicked awesome back then, I think I got a ticket, hot dog, fries and a Labatt Blue for $15 total. Here's my photo of the hit:

I think the Marlins result is showing that no one goes to Marlins games even when they are playing well. Their attendance is pretty much static no matter their current state.

I never understand why TV directors broadcasting Indycar/ F1/ NASCAR or whatever feel the need to cut or splitscreen to the families or team when a big move happens in a race. It adds nothing and just frustrates the viewer.
